Tokwa With Pineapple (Recipe)















Ingredients

3/4 kilo tokwa, cubed, fried (optional)
1 can pineapple chunks, drained
1 cup green bell peppers, sliced
2 cups celery, sliced
1 tablespoon cream of mushroom powder
1/2 tablespoon cornstarch
1/2 clove garlic, minced
1 onion, sliced
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 cup water
Salt to taste

Steps

1. Saute garlic and onion in oil.
2. Add tokwa and cook for 3 minutes.
3. Add celery and bell peppers.
4. Dissolve cornstarch and cream of mushroom powder in water and pour into vegemeat mixture. Simmer until sauce slightly thckens.
5. Season with salt.
6. Add pneapple chunks.
7. Serve hot.
