This is a cinch to prepare a little assistance from canned beans, tomatoes, and green chiles.  Use it as a base for tostada salads or as a filling for tacos or burritos.

Ingredients

1 pound boneless beef round steak, trimmed of all fat and cut into 1/2 inch cubes
1 1/2 tablespoons ground cumin
2 tablespoon seasoned salt
3 garlic cloves, crushed through a press
1 (7 ounce) can diced green chiles
1 medium onion, chopped
1 (30 ounce) can chili beans, undrained
2 (15 ounce) cans black beans, rinsed and drained
1 (14 1/2 ounce) can diced peeled tomatoes
1 (12 ounce) can or 2 (6 ounce) cans tomato paste

Steps

1.  In a 4 or 5 quart electric slow cooker, mix together the beef, cumin, chili powder, seasoned salt, garlic, chiles, and onion.  Add the chili beans, black beans, tomatoes with their liquid, and tomato paste.  Mix gently to avoid smashing the beans.
