Ingredients
225g (8oz) packaged mixed salad greens or baby lettuce
375g (12oz) roasted or grilled chicken breast, sliced
180ml (6fl oz) blue cheese dressing
2 ripe apples, cored and sliced
Freshly ground black pepper to taste (optional)
Blue cheese crumbled for garnish (optional)
Steps
In a large mixing bowl, combine the salad greens, chicken and dressing; toss gently to coat. Place on a large platter, or device among four individual salad plates. Arrange the apple slices on top of the salad. Sprinkle with freshly ground black pepper and crumbled blue cheese if desired.
