Ingredients
1/2 kilo whole choplets
2 cups unripe papaya, pared, sliced
2 cups chili or spinach leaves
1 tablespoon ginger, cut into strips
3 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 onion, sliced
5 cups water
Salt to taste
Steps
1. In saucepan, saute garlic in 1 1/2 tablespoons oil over medium fire. Set aside
2 . Saute ginger and onion in remaining oil.
3. Add choplets then saute for 2 minutes.
4. Add water and bring to a boil.
5. Add papaya then lower fire.
6. Season with salt and cook until papaya is half-done.
7. Add chili leaves, cover, and continue cooking for 30 seconds more.
8. Before removing from fire, add sauted garlic.
9. Serve hot.
