Homemade Non-Alcoholic Party Punch (Recipe)


This fruity blend appeals to children and adults alike.  It's a simple recipe to turn to anytime you want a heartwarming punch to serve on a cold day or blustery night.

Ingredients

1 (12 ounce) can frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
1 (12 ounce) can frozen raspberry juice blend concentrate, thawed
7 cups water
1/2 large lemon, sliced
1 cinnamon stick
2 to 3 oranges, thinly sliced

Steps

1.  In a 3 1/2 quart electric slow cooker, mix together the orange juice concentrate, raspberry juice blend concentrate, water, lemon slices, and cinnamon stick.
2.  Cover and cook on the low heat setting 4 to 5 hours, or until hot.  Strain and discard the lemon slices and cinnamon stick.  Return the punch to the slow cooker to keep warm.
3.  To serve, ladle into heatproof punch cups.  Float an orange slice on the top of each serving.  The slow cooker will keep the punch at serving temperature 1 to 2 hours.
