Talilong Leaves Sinigang (Recipe)


Ingredients

3 cups talilong leaves
2 cups sitaw, cut into 1 1/2"
1 eggplant, quartered
2 pieces tamarind extract
2 tomatoes, quartered
1 onion, chopped
3 cups water
Salt to taste

Steps

1. Add sitaw, tomatoes, and onion to boiling water.  Simmer until sitaw is half cooked.
2. Add eggplant and talilong leaves.  Simmer until half done.
3. Add tamarind extract and season with salt.
4. Serve hot.
